Really bummed that SimCity 2000 isn't for Mac. I used to play this game a lot growing up (on a mac lol) and really wanted to play it again.
I'm guessing this is available somewhere, so I apologize. It's tough to find definitive information as a mac user. Can I use mods for SimCity 4 (recently purchased on the app store) and SimCity (2013)? If so, what should I get, from where, and how do I install it. My god, I'm sorry.
SimCity 3000 is the follow up to SimCity 2000 which is a classic city builder in isometric view. Originally planned to be in 3D like what SimCity(2013) and Cities Skylines are but following the Maxis purchase by Electronic Arts (EA) the game was reworked to be isometric like SimCity 2000 and SC4 and Lincity/ng.

Files for Mac can be run on all versions of OS X.You need to uncompress the 7z archive using the proper software (please use Keka to avoid problems). If the archive contains a DMG, double click it to mount the disk.After that, drag & drop the game icon into Applications (or another folder, Desktop will be fine too).New versions of MacOS block applications from identified developers. If you have this problem, just press Ctrl while clicking the game icon, and select Open.Alternatively you can use the “Open Anyway” button in the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences.
